Experience: Dr Alec Sladden successfully completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2023 from the University of Malta. During such degree he focused on development planning legislation, writing a dissertation titled ‘Article 80 of the Development Planning Act – A Critical Analysis’ which received an A. He then obtained a Master of Advocacy degree from the University of Malta in 2024. In the beginning of 2025 Dr Alec Sladden was also admitted to the bar and is able to practice as a lawyer in the Court of Malta.

Dr Alec Sladden also completed an additional master course at King’s College London where he completed a Master of Laws degree with a specialisation in Law and Technology. This specialisation focuses on innovative niche areas of the law such as AI, Energy Law, Blockchain and E-Commerce.
